Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all training courses, consulting, and auditing services provided by AS SHEQ Training (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking or purchasing our services, you (“the client”) agree to these Terms.
1. Bookings

All course bookings must be made online via our website https://assheqtraining.co.za, by email, or directly with our office.
2. Payments & Deposits
-
A deposit of R3,500 (non-refundable) is required to commence work or secure your booking.

Full payment must be made before the course start date unless prior arrangements have been agreed in writing.

Payments can be made via EFT, bank transfer, or secure online payment gateway.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
-
If you cancel a booking:
-
7 or more working days before the course date: Eligible for a refund (excluding the non-refundable deposit).

Less than 7 working days before the course date: No refund, but rescheduling may be offered at our discretion.

Substitutions (sending another learner in place of the booked delegate) are allowed at no extra charge.

If AS SHEQ Training cancels or reschedules a course, clients will be notified promptly and offered an alternative date or a full refund.
4. Refunds

Refunds will only be processed in line with our Refund & Returns Policy.

The R3,500 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
5. Certificates & Assessments

Certificates of competence will only be issued to learners who attend the course in full and successfully complete assessments.

Certificates are valid for 2–3 years, depending on the course and regulatory requirements.
6. Client Responsibilities
-
Clients must ensure that learners meet prerequisite requirements (where applicable).

For on-site training, clients must provide a safe and suitable training environment.

Any special needs or learning requirements should be communicated in advance.
7. Intellectual Property

All training materials remain the property of AS SHEQ Training and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.
8. Liability
-
AS SHEQ Training will not be held liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or injury resulting from training activities, unless caused by proven negligence on our part.

Clients and learners are responsible for their own safety and compliance with health and safety rules during training sessions.
9. Consulting & Auditing Services
-
Deliverables and timelines for consulting or auditing projects will be agreed in writing prior to commencement.

Fees are based on the agreed scope of work. Additional services requested will be charged separately.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes will be handled in the jurisdiction of South African courts.
